Kids Are Our Future is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and families throughout New Mexico. Through youth sports, educational programs, leadership development, backpack drives, mentorship opportunities and community outreach, we provide resources and support that help young people succeed in school, sports and life.

Youth Sports
Through basketball, baseball, boxing and other youth sports programs, we help young people develop teamwork discipline, leadership, and self-confidence. Sports provide a positive outlet while teaching life skills that extend far beyond the playing field.
Education
Education is the foundation of future success. Kids Are Our Future supports educational opportunities through tutoring, school supply assistance, reading programs, chess activities, technology access, and other learning opportunities that help children reach their full potential.
Scouts and Leadership Development
Building confidence and character through mentoring, scouting, life-skills training, and community service. Leadership programs help young people develop responsibility, integrity, citizenship, and service to others. Through scouting and community service activities, youth gain valuable experiences that prepare them to become future leaders in their communities.
Back - to - School Assistance
Many families struggle with the rising cost of school supplies. Kids Are Our Future works to provide backpacks, school supplies, and educational materials to ensure every child starts the school year prepared for success.
SUICIDE PREVENTION STARTS WITH CONNECTION WITH SOCIETY
At Kids Are Our Future, we believe suicide prevention begins long before a crisis occurs. When children and teenagers have positive role models, supportive relationships, healthy activities, and a sense of belonging, they are more likely to develop confidence, resilience, and hope for their future. Our mission is to help young people stay connected, active, and engaged through sports, mentorship, educational programs, community involvement, and positive life experiences. By providing opportunities and support, we help reduce the feelings of isolation, hopelessness, and despair that can contribute to mental health struggles
